My favorite lies

“I’ll never do anything to hurt you” says the man that held me down and made my innocence bleed out. I begged him to stop, I cried too but it was like a whisper he couldn’t hear when ever I shout.

“I’ll always be here” says the woman that left me sobbing after I have made mistakes. Just because I accidentally hit the mirror but truly it is my heart that brakes.

“You are so pretty” says the girl that is always making me wear a mask of makeup completely hiding the true me. She cuts my hair and then puts on wig and  expects me to believe.

“I love you” says the boy that cheats on me uncountable times and when he has problems hits me to cope. After all I know they are lies but it still gives me hope.
