Ham steaks are great

Hmm, get up in the morning, bacon's frying in the pan.
Ah yes, in the evening, a ham steak and potatoes again.
There's no doubt he tastes good,
But God forbids these, why would?

A short narrative for us to think about why,
The swine He has deprived.
My mother told me they couldn't cook it right.

Pork is restricted in the Bible and the Quran.
I think that's enough to realize He has a plan.
Leviticus chapter eleven verses seven and eight.
Deuteronomy fourteen, again, verse eight.

God always looks out for his servants.
Telling us what's okay, to thrive and pillage.
A pig is a scavenger and it lives in feces and dirt.
A breeding place for ova and worms for dessert.

Cook the worms out of there, yes, you can.
But the ova survive, in your intestines they revive.
Roundworm, pinworm, hookworm.
In our blood they live and cause germs.

Besides all that, pork is full of fat.
That's all I'm going to say about that.
