The Day I was Broken (released ver)
The Day I was Broken
By: Lulu the Faery
Usually this goes unspoken
But the day I was broken you left me there in the open
The outside was just like my emotions
It was dark and gloomy
Oh, the day I was broken has made me feel loony
It felt like you took my beauty
And it was taken away quite cruelly
Why oh why did you take my desires
You made me feel undesired and uninspired
For so long you played me like a fool and made me out to be a liar
The day I was broken has filled me with fire
Now I hate you with more passion than someone ever should
Why where you so cruel to take away everything that made me feel secure
The madness has made me a danger
All because you corrupted that chamber
For the day I was broken has left me feeling crazy
Because of you everyone blames me
Because of you I’m stuck in the past
Because of you I sit and watch the memories that left me harassed
For the day I was broken makes me wish for vengeance
Because you had left me there feeling defenseless
If you reap what you sow, then why don’t I have justice?
Why can’t I believe it when they say ‘you can trust us’
Why do I have to face injustice while you are the reason for the cuts
Since the day I was broken they got deeper
It’s so hard to say I’m a dreamer
You did the deed
And left me to bleed
Since the day I was broken I’ve become brand new
Through the pain of that day, I grew
Now I choose to be the beauty in the pain
Because my mind is my domain
I chose to leave my personal hell
Even if I may be unwell
I am learning to be in control
For the day that I was broken made me revolt
And now I can be consoled
For that day isn’t who I am
I am Luna, the one who survives.
