Abstinence from Premature Verbalization
Abstain from loquacity, if thou doth not possess
The complete narrative ere thou dost speak,
For verbalizing prior to acquisition
May engender misconceptions and inaccuracies.
Hence, refrain from forming precipitate judgments
Regarding circumstances or individuals,
Before thou hast obtained all the data,
And fully understand the facts.
Let not thy tongue be hasty in its movements,
But wait until the full story is told,
For jumping to conclusions oft results
In misunderstandings, errors, and woes.
So let thy speech be measured, and thy ears
Be open wide, to hear the truth before speaking, and clear.
