The End
I long for the end, the pain to subside.
I can’t take it any longer, on this merry go round ride.
Why can’t it all stop?
What do I do next?
My body lives on, but my soul has lost it’s ambition.
I’m fighting a losing battle for I have no ammunition.
I’ve lost my glow, my secret flame.
But it’s my own fault, I have no one but myself to blame.
My mind keeps telling me you know what you have to do.
But it’s the pain in my heart that won’t go away,
Maybe, just maybe, tomorrow will be a better day.
All I can do is hope and pray
That maybe my God will take me his way.
A way to eternal peace, a way from the sorrow.
Oh God don’t make me wait ‘til tomorrow.
