lost love

another lost love
broken dreams
lost in trust
seared then kissed
asking for somthing i cant have
something more fair
a little less fighting the crowds
a little more getting high as cootie brown
leaving the world and women for dearest mary jane
burn a bridge fire it bright
kiss yourself goodnight
say your prayers grab your talisman  pendulum totem  or cross
and keep it with you
to ward off the malevolent demons
when love turns into thrillerotica but your not afraid
and some wouldnt know why
the demons turn into angels when you see them for what they really are
some of gods angels a fan of man who may care about what you want god the father to some devil to me a little bit of both
and the pleasures of the world are not of the father so i cant blame him  for my celibacy missing that what you once loved and lived for and is now gone all the women i have loved before and an everchanging river under the bridge choosing my love for mary jane and solitude again cold feet another lost love travelers in dreams strong as we are a missed embrace left with the solace of mary janes loving arms around me on a cold winter night
