Sweet Nostalgia: A pome on childhood

Youth, gracious how sweet Days loaded up with chuckling and play, no problem, no loss The world was a material, and we painted with merriment With colored pencils and paints, our minds set free

The swings and the slides, the hopscotch and the label The frozen yogurt truck's tolls, a tune that wouldn't slack Guiltless and lighthearted, in view of no concerns Simply getting a charge out of life, with extra care

Recollections so dear, we value them still The chuckling and bliss, the adventure of the slope Gracious youth, how momentary, how rapidly it passed Yet its recollections, they will perpetually endure.
