Cavendish Shores PEI.

Nice hushing sound of surf
Grasses in the sands.
Not any dunes as in
Further east on the North Shore.
Lots of blue herons there.
But here, the feel of
Anne of the Island.

See the film at the interpretive centre
People gazing, strolling
Romancing.
From all around the world.
We met twin sisters
Australian and six footers.
Fulfilling something on
The Bucket List.
Seeing the home of
Anne of Green Gables (Lucy M. Montgomery)

Sun was going to set.
Fog moving in from Atlantic.
Would pictures be impossible?
Oh no they are spectacular.

Gulls laughing in glee
Overhead.
Next down to Halifax.
Via the big bridge. Truro.
Maritime Museum.
Wonderful recollection
Of the Great Fire in World War One.
The Titanic.
The search for the wreck
And answers, going beyond
James Cameron.
Navy stuff, merchant marine.
Our kind of stuff.
To enjoy.
