Risen

No more does darkness creep,
reigns not a gloom in heart
but light and heaven's glory
illuminate a path.

In Spring the buds await
the sun's first golden glow,
may we at Easter  celebrate
resurrection, new-born hope.

A full abundant life,
man's deep desires fulfilled,
riches God freely gives,
by grace-- beheld, received.

This poem beautifully captures the imagery of light dispelling darkness and the anticipation of new beginnings symbolized by Spring and Easter. It paints a picture of hope, renewal, and the abundance of life that comes from embracing grace and divine blessings. The contrast between darkness and light, gloom and glory, reflects the transformative power of faith and the promise of a life filled with spiritual richness and fulfillment through God's grace. The mention of Easter and resurrection further underscores the theme of new life and hope that comes from embracing the light and promise of a fresh start.
