A prayer for our beloved Earth

How the trees green
and the oceans blue
It's like they're alive
and speaking to me and you

When the sun sets
and the ocean rests
The moon rises
and tucks us into bed

With houses made
and forests cut down
we are destroying our home
our original town

With wilderness dying
and mother nature crying
we can see the end of the Earth
cut down in its prime

Like a young victim of death
so easily gone
we destroy the Earth
and everything involved

So please say a prayer
for our beloved Earth
before it ends up like those
dug into the dirt
