You knew I would love you

You caught my heart like a star in your night sky
And lifted my soul as each word sewed a century into the next
Spinning dance after dance into each one of our steps
The elegance of time smoothed over each argument debating the depths of care we had for each other
We sipped the well of our love lapping up each solemn vow we had to share
As the sun sets on our tomorrows, each look falls before our outstretched arms
The magnificence of such thankful beauty radiates our earth and streams the heavens
Where we will never truly be alone...
