You say let them

You say let them, but how do i deal with the pain?
You say let them, but how do i heal?
You say let them, but allowing that pain in i cant seem to come back.
I know you said it will take time but right now it’s all and everything in my mind.
You say let them pull back, but I’m used to holding on, how do i let go?
You say let them if they choose someone else, but how am I meant to choose me after that?
You say let them go weeks without texting, but tell me how do i stop checking and wanting them to.
You say hold the door open for them, I CAN I WILL but what about when the door closes?

Let them lose me? What if i lose me ?
I was never theirs, ALWAYS MY OWN.

I will let them. No matter the pain.

I will work on me. I will show them me!
I will know my worth and let them all know.
I will let then work to be apart of my life.
I will let them earn forgiveness.
My heart has harden, my pain has grown BUT my strength got me through.

BUT I WILL AS HELL LET THEM LOVE ME EVEN IF I LOOSE APART OF ME.
BECAUSE I DESERVE LOVE
YES EVEN ME A
