The bum legs
And magical trike.

The sidewalk he liked.



I would be on
My way to the
Court House.
Some case full of
Ennui and pain.
But there was that kid
So industrious.
For him each day
Held much of gain.



My glooms would
Be overturned quickly.
What right was there
For me to pine?
The boy was a tonic
So helpful.
A chalice of
Full bodied wine.
