goin to get my medals

distance was astounding.
over miles by thousands
went on in existence
just as a witness
the woods have a thickness
just watch this witness
walking through minding my own business
getting past defenses ain;t no picnic
it;s a dangerous life
freedom got to keep on living
don't want to wind up
in my enemies prison
I'm going to get my medals
a though Row search levil by levil
don't give no dust a chance to settle
protected by the temple
going to get my medals
hearing buzzes and feeling thorns
fighting the contempt of the jungles scorn
voices in the bloodshed you just can't ignore
smiles on their faces are earned where they war
all this going on in the heat
don't step on a mine or I'll lose my feet
another hundred miles
and the enemies breatched
it all seems to go in slow mo
when theres seconds to react and the blood will flow
rain falls heaven knows
got to judge another soul
I 'm going to get my medals
don;t give a chance for dust to settle
a thoughrow search levil by levil
going to get my medals
