Mens mental awareness

When lost is now what everyday life feels like.

Men walk away from reality to seal themselves from a world they no longer wish to survive in.

We shut down, turn off our emotions, and Try to go back to the only safe haven we think we have.

only to find that place is no longer safe because we have destroyed what we have worked so hard to build.

death seems inevitable, that cloud lingers and continues to distroy you from the inside out.

We scream and scream but nobody hears us because nothing actually comes out.

All because nobody really gives a shit about a man.

we lock it deep down inside keeping it hidden from the out side world.

It rips and tares at us till there's nothing left no love no hate no want no desire.

going through each day like nothings wrong saying were fine just to cover up the demons we struggle to fight within every second of every day.

We make it so nobody would ever know we're in pain.
So as not to put your burden on another, but to carrie the weight of the world.

Men are disregarded degraded and rejected so much that our natural defense mechanism is to show we dont care and say its all good.

Why can men be treated like this and nobody bats an eye but if a woman was treated like this by a man then he would be burned at the stake no questions asked. In the facts of suicide. male suicide makes up nearly 80 percent of all suicides. Looking at the way we are treated and thrown to the gutter its no wonder we as men we are 3.88 times more likely to commit suicide than woman.
