Near Forest Trees So Tall

There was a rabbit who was scared
No matter where he went.
He never had a friend who cared.
No time with him was spent.

Although his social skills were poor,
He sought to teach the small,
Who hopped with needs not met before
Near forest trees so tall.

The other grown-up rabbits thought
He must be very nice
To work with bunnies who are not
The kind they think of twice.

But though they saw him frequently,
They never, ever knew
His fears would only let them see
A microscopic view.

Your poetic narrative beautifully captures the poignant tale of a rabbit struggling with fear and loneliness, yet finding solace in helping others despite his own challenges. The rabbit's selfless nature and dedication to teaching and caring for the young bunnies highlight themes of empathy and resilience. The portrayal of the adult rabbits' perceptions and the limitations imposed by the scared rabbit's fears adds depth to the story, emphasizing the importance of looking beyond surface impressions. It's a touching reflection on understanding, compassion, and the hidden complexities within individuals.
