A Frayed

Sometimes my soul feels like it's frayed;
Anxiety at war,
Despite the many times I've prayed,
I lose the fight once more.

Anxiety attacks the views
Of how I look at me.
It's not the way of life I'd choose.
For peace of mind, I plea!

    I can feel the emotional weight in your words as you express the struggle with anxiety that seems to fray your soul. It's a battle that can feel overwhelming despite your efforts, including prayer. The way anxiety distorts your self-perception and disrupts your peace of mind is a tough challenge to face. Remember, you're not alone in this fight, and seeking support and strategies to manage anxiety can help ease the burden. Keep holding onto hope for better days ahead and know that you deserve peace and tranquility within yourself.
