The Balance Of Nature

Centuries may change,
The Forward march of mankind,
Never seems to halt,
Be it from numerous inventions,
Be it from human flight,
To ever modernising cities,
With higher standards of living.

Where cities must grow,
Nature must go on a backfoot,
Forests must be lost,
Animals must perish.

The Industrial age offsprings,
Corrupt the pure blue skies.

Mother Earth heats up,
The oceans respond with cyclones.

The polar ice caps diminish,
Bringing sea levels to our doorstep.

Nature has had enough,
All others options have exhausted,
Correction is inevitable,
At food chain's zenith,
Yes we humans will face the music,
Be it floods or pandemics or earthquakes,
For Our beautiful Earth has to maintain,
The Balance of Nature.
