Monophobia

Loneliness, the utter feeling of being alone.
I should be used to it but I’m not.
I’ve been alone a plenty of times, mentally and physically.
You can be alone in a room full of people and not feel connected to them.
Or you can be alone in a room.
The feeling drives me crazy feeling of my mind and body.
Weighing my heart down to my feet as it fills up my body.
I’ve always been alone.
Yet I fear it like the plague.
Loneliness has always been my enemy.
Yeah, also my friend that I see on a daily basis.
It’s crazy that as human beings we can heat something we see all the time.
Whenever I see this close friend I can see the pain.
The pain that he and I both feel.
That’s why I figured this close friend because he makes me feel what I don’t want to feel.
So instead of fear in this friend, I should accept him and let the loneliness creep in.
