Tears

Flowing waters from internal rain
External emotion from internal pain
Overjoyed happiness can cause tears to flow
Then there are times when we cry for reasons we just don't know
Good-hearted people find it easier to cry
While hard-hearted people shed tears that they'll always deny

Behind closed doors we face what's real
While in the public's eye, we personify a fictitious shield
Tears can be therapy to a battered soul
While tears can be a prison that keeps your life on hold
We all shed tears, this we can't deny
So deal with the REASONS that cause you to cry
EMBRACE your tears!

About this poem

With the TV volume muted, I saw a woman PASSIONATELY CRYING! THAT is the INSPIRATION behind this Poem.
