That laughter is the only cure for grief.

That laughter is the only cure for grief.

In times of sorrow, when hearts are blue,
There is a remedy, tried and true,
It’s not a tonic or a magic pill,
But something we all possess, still.

It hides within, deep down inside,
The power to heal, gentle and wide,
For when the world seems too much to bear,
Laughter emerges from a place so rare.

With its melodic sound and joyful tone,
It lifts our spirits, making us feel known,
Laughter, the remedy that brings us peace,
A temporary escape, where pain can cease.

Through tears and sadness, it finds its way,
Banishing darkness, just for a day,
It’s the secret potion to mend our heart,
A timeless medicine, of infinite art.

With raucous giggles and a hearty chuckle,
Laughter mends wounds, with no need to buckle,
It soothes our souls, like a warming fire,
Igniting hope, our spirits will soon aspire.

In moments of despair, laughter prevails,
Leaving no room for sorrowful tales,
It invites joy, like a welcomed guest,
A celebration of life, when we are blessed.

Though grief may linger, and hardships endure,
Laughter reminds us, there’s always a cure,
It’s the echo of resilience, resilience so strong,
That carries us forward when things go wrong.

So let us laugh, in times of despair,
For it is the remedy, beyond compare,
Let it fill our days, with endless delight,
And chase away darkness, with all its might.

For when we laugh, the world seems bright,
Our souls are embraced in sheer delight,
So cherish each giggle and cascading sound,
For laughter is the cure that can always be found.
