Calling
Calling the Spirit
of the winds dance
More than just
cool
Places to be
Things to do
Crazy stuff
young people
try
without thinking
Gazing from the highest hilltop
to catch the view
Down by the sea
Gentle breezes flow
Filling tall sails
On the ships below
Looking down
At sea and shore
See the dark clouds
gathering
Rising swiftly
From the east
Like the slant
of the rant
Suddenly
Lightning flash
And thunders
roar take hold
Driving rains
punish hard
Any fool
caught far afield
Blasting forces
Broken trees fall
Helpless, against
the shredding gales
Before the anger
of the sky king
Finding shelter
from the storm
It's not an option
It’s necessity
Feel like
an adventurer
When i feel
the first slap
From tearing winds
And crashing seas
Lean directly into it
Flapping my arms
Just like a giant bird
Pushing hard
against The howling
winds flow
Like an evil jester ‘s scowl
As, if oblivious to danger
Even enchanted
by taunting death's roar
i might even jump
up and down
Side to side
then spin around
Like a pinwheel
Fly
turning Faster now
No laughing matter
Thrown repeatedly
to the ground
Rising again
pushed Up and down
Laughing like a madman
Shouting Obscenities back into the wind
Feign dodging
lightning bolts
Screaming
in righteous anger
Hurled
like a boomerang
Hit with
cracking whips
Making machine gun
sounds
With a band
from hell
Playing
like a hurricane
Winds tearing up
creation
Bringing death
to every door
Hear it knocking
Turn off lights
Bar the windows
Bolt the doors
Making all the homes
Close down
Make it appear
Nobody's there
Calling forth
Hounds of hell
Battlefields
without glory
Horrid
shrieking winds
Pouring down
like Hell
From a cauldron
of pure evil
On the hapless earth
below
Splintering
the mighty oaks
Scattering the grasses
In the fields afar
Defying the winds
Hear me
singing my song
Hear the rains fall
Embedded
in the shrieking gale
Hear the calling of
The spirit of the winds
Dance
Can you hear
the Call?
