Break
They all want me to be
Someone I don't wanna be
I'm losing myself
This is not who I am
Keep smiling and move forward
They don't even notice
That your demons are winning
And you tried, but I know
That you're tired of living
You can't take all this pain
You can't take all this hate
You just want a break, yeah
Wondering what you living for
Every breath that you take
Is haunting you more
Maybe if you just die
You'll get a break
About this poem
This poem is baoit the pressure you feel to love up to exceptations of someone. You're crumbling under pressure and the people closet to you don't notice how you are struggling internal. How you are fighting yourself to just be yourself, but you move on with the mask you can never imagine taking off.
