Broken

I’m tired of going through the motions everyday without fail
Tired of living these lies actin happy as hell.
Go through the day just waiting for it to end
Wake up tomorrow do it all over again
I say that I’m happy when I know that I’m not
Waiting for something to change but I’m stuck in this spot
My life’s falling apart but I try to smile through
Picking up pieces but I can’t find the glue
Where does it end? Do things ever change?
I’m looking for answers, I’m wracking my brain.
How did I get here? Where did it all go wrong?
It’s like a nightmare on repeat someone please stop this song.
Things start to look up, it’s like a breath of fresh air
Then all of the sudden I’m choking and drowning this just isn’t fair.
