All That Remains

He left behind all glory due
To God the living Son
And took on human form, a view
To show what had begun.

Our Lord became a human so
We would not be afraid
When miracles would start to show
Fulfilling vows, He made.

The sacrifice He came to make,
Though now a manger Child;
A prophecy with much at stake
Redemption not defiled.

The Baby grew to pay the price
Of sinners, one and all.
Our sins were put on Him not twice,
But once due to the Fall. *

The only thing we need to do
Is to accept by faith,
Our many sins God will not view.
While in His love we bathe!

*Genesis, Chapter 3
