Turn the light on
Two shawdows move
in everchanging dawn
The shadows don’t touch
but their slow pace uninterrupted
We use to dance
in the bright summer sun
like summer would last
beyond our plans
Turn the lights on
I want to dance
in the fading dawn
I want to imagine
the summer sun
Remember the jokes, the song
The hope fresh spun
Turn the light on
I want to dance
while the leaves fall at my feet
