When It Was Time

When it was time to walk;
He lifted up my eyes so I could see.
When it was time to move;
He put strength in my legs and set me free.
When it was time to speak;
You used my lips to speak the truth.

And faithfully I wrote it down
So, you might have proof.
I know that God can speak to you;
The way that he does me.
A tender heart and ears to hear
Is all you’ll ever need.
