AND WRITE MY FAITH THROUGH POETRY

AND WRITE MY FAITH THROUGH POETRY

So, you think you know me?
Huh, better think again
Cause I'm born new and free
And these words will not end
I write what I write, I write right
I tell ya there's no end in sight!

You don't like the message. I don't care
Gonna keep writing on, and on, and on
To speak my message is my prayer
There's never I time when I'm gone
I write and I'll write what I'm told
By Grace forever I'll be bold

I've gotta write what I'm called to write
Stand firm in faith as I'm called true
Write it down,spread the light
With the words that I say for you
Believe me there's only one way
I've gotta write what the Spirit did say

I ain't afraid of controversy
I've never run from a fight
No.i didn't go to no university
But I read and my mind took flight
The Lord taught me all I need
To go out and plant a little  seed

Come on and tell me where I'm wrong
I will tell ya be sure of that
I never write a trite little song
But I always write from where I'm at
I let Jesus have the rest
Your don't have to make it a test

My poetry isn't in just what I write
It's in everything I've got to say
It doesn't matter if you say it's right
Just that I'm faithful in every way
Cause I'm born true and free
And write my faith through poetry
AMEN
