Oh, how things have changed

The shadow on that wall

Makes noises in my ear

Not allowed to be myself, they say

Not wanted, they say

Go away, die in that pit of hell, it screams at me

I wonder, was I ever really a king?

Was I ever wanted, important, loved?

Feels like I'm nothing now

Ringworms rip right through my soul

Stealing the life from my lips

I can no longer speak of a God who is supposed to love me

If He does, why does everyone else hate me?

Why does His creation resist and despise me?

I'm afraid to be nice anymore

The enemies can appear to be friends, and the friends are most likely previous enemies

I pray for you sweet sister

I pray for you sweetheart

I was wrong. I was very very wrong. But I was also a child.

I didn't yet know the Lord.

I'm afraid to come out of this cell

It's comfortable in the misery

It's all I know

All I know is the pain and torment

And those intrusive voices clinging to my heart and telling me I'm evil
