The Great Depression: When Dreams Fell Apart

So many poor who weren't before
Finances disappeared.
Who was to blame when horror came
And poverty appeared?

So many cried and some had died;
The life they knew was gone!
Intense despair!  Life was not fair!
Small hope to carry on!

Frustration was their way because
No answers were they told.
They worked each day and prayed that they
Would see their dreams unfold!
