Lady In Blue

Lady In Blue

You stand as a lady in blue
An azure suit and snow white
Tall as a lotus blossom in water
As pure as clear sky
And I behold your sight as
The happy pilgrim in a church
You dazzle me in a moment
As I marvel your fine form
Cradling my eyes
In all your natural wonder.

Your voice as a lady in blue
Captures my attention
Swallowing your words
As morsels for a man
Hungry to know about you
Your tranquil colors
Of blue and white
Hold you in delicate light
Your skin radiates
Beneath as the Sun
Behind a veil of the heavens
And I feel your warmth within.

How blissful is morning for me
Knowing I get to see you
The horizon rises golden
Your hair captures its light
Leveling any unease
Raising every joy
I ever imagine existed
Just briefly does this take place
But time stands still
Because you are here with me
And everything else disappears.
