Placation



I lumber through green forests ways
  vast treescapes thick and deep
    alive with sounds and scents ablaze
      and pray for many other days
        to tread these trails to dream and gaze
          from fretless paths that keep
            away the blight of dense malaise        
               that treks through restless sleep
