Here to Absolve

Here to Absolve

Upon closer examination, just left of those beautiful Blue Eyes, you’ll find waiting, permission for you to proceed directly into your dark heart, and upon entry, will be forced to a heretofore unknown experience, sanctioned to deliver you from all you ever misunderstood about your beautiful Life.  And (and this is significant), you will likely have no idea what just happened to you, only the color Blue happened; a light metallic Russian Blue-Sky Blue, with shades of blonde softly falling hair, as it suddenly sallies itself for your look-see, as it culled you from your ancient sully.  And you suddenly have no idea what you have in front of you; part of you smiles, part bewilders, and there are soft tones of adulation from what inside of you has never forgiven you for not seeing it before.  This takes a moment; you really are quite taken back, and like seeing Holy for the first time you try to formulate a parity He is like.  He used to feign forgiveness of the likes of us, that is until just recently when He decided the bargain wasn’t worth the upshot, so He stays to see your alliance; to know whose fence you stride.

I watch from the corner now, as I’m not allowed the hollow, so I can only speculate what waxes and wanes within the walls of His Eden.  I see it though, when he looks through me and I see the windows of his soul.  At times I feel awkward and drawn to a magnetism from another pole; the same force propels as it politely apologizes for the temporary vacancy.

I feel inadequate and deeply wonder about my qualifications.  I don’t recall the registration of this classroom, and certainly unfamiliar with the syllabus.  The nomenclature comes from a field of retailing I am unfamiliar with, nor have I ever purchased that product from any reseller.  If he falls, I think I can’t catch him, and worse, the very currency of his economy I have no commodity to exchange, except that I love him.  This I can do, and I often wonder if it will be enough for the formidable times ahead of him and his generations.

So, I sit and think, and thank, and throw around ideas in my aged head, about ways-and-means and metaphors of fading blue jeans I have forgotten the interpolation of, (but not the significance of), which daily I offer to him ineffaceably, but it goes unseen.  One day he will remember what I gave him, when he sees his time is tenured, and he too finds he knows more than he leads on to, and what we see as Brilliance he will see as Behind-him, he will be off to another searching Father to assist in making sense of a life not yet absolved.
