The day the world stood still and America and it's allies didn't even have time to take a breath.  
1941 the epitome of evil on two fronts took their place in history and displayed their hatred for mankind and thought they were doing right. Even though in Europe devices were already in place to seek search and destroy people that were considered the wrong race of people and wasn't worth letting live. The Americans were because of their caring were forced to get involved and they did not even think twice about it. The greatest unselfish generation came to do their part regardless of the outcome for them and their loved ones. So many dreams and desires for a future in life with their families was put at extreme risk and any hope they had of returning to the land of the free was that in a window that was getting smaller everyday. My Father as of May that year was just starting his life and I was barely a thought in God's eyes yet. I served in the Navy for 21yrs and everyday I thought of those brave men and women without a second care or thought for themselves put all of their focus on the millions and millions of helpless folks that were being destroyed by two evil countries and their allies that thought they had a greater right to survive than those they were killing. Such an evil time for our world and I still can't wrap my head around it. I can't think of the WWII generation with dry eyes because of their sacrifice for freedom worldwide.  The lessons of loving caring and sacrifice will never be fully learned coming out of WWII so we can never stop putting on our heart and soul the burdenious feeling of that awful time in history that brought out in good people the ability to fight to the death the greatest evil in my opinion this planet would experience next to the crucifixion of Christ our Lord and Savior.  Every person needs to as evil continues to grow in our world focus on and daily fill your heart and soul with the Joy of God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Human race has demonstrated that we know how to clean our existence and that way is through Christ. We must not and cannot forget those throughout our history that have gave their lives through their actions to try and make this world a better place.
