Hipocrisy
Watchin' movies just to feel somethin',
Losin' touch with people to focus on God as my foundation,
I wish I was alone working towards that progress,
Listenin' to hipocrisy that's why we minimize the people we get linked with,
We weren't one to be speakin' about God while sinning so much,
What do you do when all chips are down and you ain't got anyone else to lean on,
Only a prayer for courage to keep faith with the hard lessons learned to keep living on,
Telling myself family doesn't matter just to keep faith at the forefront,
Maintaining honesty while most keep repeating the same thing about a traditional aspect of an egotistical self,
Is self-care an act of self-love because apparently self-love is selfish to display based on a biblical verse and through sobriety meetings that says forget what you value the most,
Family is my value so I tell myself family don't matter,
Bank on that my faith I've been practicing without no consideration of a relationship matter,
I don't act like I know better but wisdom is gained by others,
You don't need to be old to gain wisdom that's how wisdom works,
But still I wind up in a location when I'm working to address problems in single turns,
Yet the officer doesn't care because they're worried about reputation and how critical of life doesn't ruin their own,
Some people really don't care because they already have money going into their bank accounts,
Easy to talk shit when your already makin' money,
I don't remember being conceited and disregarding people at least while providing service without regrets,
But who am I to talk...Karma has been showing me that everything I was doing was wrong,
So I don't profess to know religious talks,
I practice in my own time the faith that I still do have without hipocrisy when I say God with this forsaken mouth with better vocabulary instead of a perverse talk.
