JESUS BETANCOURT

Rhymed
In my youth was inspiringly poor
Poetically insecure
Starving for literature that's something more
Like a poem with fulfilling allure

Stumbling one day at a library
Upon poets donating for poetic charity
Sharing unselfishly a plethora of poetry
Took home poems to share with hungry family
