Purpose
Looking into the crystal ball, I saw upon my soul.
The twists and turns to get me there, I was eager to behold.
The energy passed me by, electrified my body.
It tingled and spread all around, making me feel naughty.
I focused my intentions, on the task at hand
And into the ball a picture formed, of surrounding lands.
Wind swept grass and tall trees
Of deer and birds and even bees.
Then the image began to shift
As if the fog began to lift.
I could see me standing on a rock
Way up high next to a windsock
All that could be heard was the wind, like the cry of a bird
With arms open wide and head tilted back
The laughter that came was not from lack.
It was full and deep and joyous,
Honest and pure and alive.
Nothing you have heard before from under these skies
Then back into the room, with a smile upon my face.
Now I know my place.
