Heaven Bound

Lonely angel
Heaven bound
Instead
Shackled to the ground
This is not where she belongs
Her freedom to fly
Towards heaven's sky
Taken away by her own doing
Depression heavy
Anxiety ridden
Letting her flesh and blood control her
She needed to get away
From her past
Betrayal
Nothing here but bitter memories
Her one true light
His gray blue eyes
Protective embrace
There's no falsity here
in his arms,
Only devotion
With his enduring love
The chains break free
The truth is all we need
