PARADE

I want to step inside and outside; I want to touch the stars and the sky. For me, there is no limit. The only truth is that I dance to the beat of a different drum, and all I see is a city parade that smiles down on me and brushes its hand gently across my face where it is time where space can be erased.

I see my soul leave my body at night. Before I fall asleep, it whispers goodnight, sweet dreams. Life is never what it seems. I'm going dancing in the parade. Maybe then it will be you who is saved.

With every passing night and day, the more I find myself swaying back and forth inside of the moonlight; take my hand; we rode this bus for too damn long; its time to get off and enjoy this colorful parade
