Decision

Everyday I wonder as to why I made the decision that I did. It was the right thing to do… wasn’t it?Young birds don’t go off to meet their spouse but yet settle in the nest of comfort to learn the ways of which to survive? As for this I was blinded by the sight of Age and Opportunity that I failed to truly see. Before my slumber I wonder as if I’ll see you again in an unreal memory. Will I talk of the things that plummeted and how they should rise again in new foundation? A Christ built foundation. As for the only foundation that will hold is a Christ built foundation. Why do I roll in thoughts and memories when I was once desperate to escape the chains of a once immensely gravitational pull? For now the weight has lifted and the air has withered the chains to be no more. I now see that all that’s their is opportunity to fix what was never broken but simply unspoken. Why give it up when it was never something to give in the first place. You can’t give away something as prominent as the pulling of a heart. I lift my head to the heavens everyday go ask my father to fix the broken hearted. Once only one but now both fall, and I get back answers that I don’t know but have the answers to. For trust in the Father and he will deliver. The storm is great but henceforth there will be a dazzling ambiance of a promise so pure that every eye is drown to its appearance. Thank you Jesus for your love and endless blessing on my life. Put me first and I will give you the desires of your heart. For I will show you the sign that you need to be set free. It will work out. It will prevail in my hour of love

About this poem

This poem is the thoughts of a male Christian teen who is regretting the decision of letting go of the women that he once thought he couldn’t care for. And in the midst of them talking once more he is being overwhelmed with the thoughts of what might come of their beautiful bond
