Beyond the tales!

They scream the name of murderers! The shouting in the streets remind me of the robberies! The beatings tortures, trauma! I remember being called the n word by the same one hired to protect and serve! The innocence lost me then! They are no longer woman to some just whores! As I ponder why there is a price to life, I watch as my greatest works are stolen! Then recreated devilishly! What a crime to life! In public some are the talk of the town! Behind closed doors racist slurs are shouted and punches are thrown for all who dare to speak on it! Hate travels around! The same guy on the corner asks for a dollar. Light bills and rent take mine though I couldn't help him out! Kids are worth less than drugs! While men are treated like animals and thrown in cages! Yet, they say they pray to one above! I know evil really exists! In my mind I'm distant, living, in a place I could not get killed! Love is fading while hate and power crush all who oppose! You say it's depressing, I say, you give me nothing to live for! Truth of the matter I will not curse my kids! They deserve better than to grow up in a world that only desires to kill! Positive thoughts at times flood my brain like butterflies! Far apart they are, for the darkness has made even me unkind! They speak like nothing is wrong! While my blood boils in anger, because I have no response! Just know I grieve for some right now! Yet, when blackness sets the same energy and hate you gave will come back around! No pits or threats curses or judgement! Only truth, what you give is what you get! I hate snakes, they only, love each other! The wolves will eat your arms and legs! No mercy or life is what you gave, death is what you'll get! Look ahead some will have better days, yet others will dwell in the fire that they curse every day!
