The Graceful praying mantis.

A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)

The Graceful Praying Mantis

Oh, graceful mantis in the garden fair, With slender limbs raised in silent prayer. Your eyes so wise, your movements slow, A mystical creature, in the moon's soft glow. Your beauty mesmerizes, a sight so rare, Nature's delicate masterpiece, beyond compare. In stillness, you wait, a picture of grace, A symbol of patience, in this busy place. Oh, graceful mantis, so poised and grand, A wonder of creation in this magical land.
