Mind Fields

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

You think about them night and day;
The things you won’t let get away.
Your house; your home, your wife; your love.
You received them all from God above.
He rests on high with awesome power;
And He determines the day and the hour.
And no one knows but God alone.
When He will come to take you home.

You’ll lose your house and lose your wife.
But Jesus Christ will give you life.
And you won’t lose your love and home!
Because in Christ they are yours alone.
While here on earth learn to share with your brothers.
Share with your friends and even give some to others.
What can you lose when there’s love in your home?
With myriads of children you’re never alone!
