My Angel Now

Ballad Stanza
It wasn’t a hard decision for you
To leave it all behind
One look at His face and you knew
It finally had become your time.

You reached for His hand without hesitation
And clasped to Him real tight
You followed Him so easily
As you were guided towards the light

You embarked on life everlasting
Whilst I stayed back here left behind
In His kingdom you will remain
Claiming your inheritance of the divine

You have now become my Angel
Guiding and watching over me
I can only pray to see your sweet smile again
On the day I too am set free
