Faces of Nature

Look into my eyes and know my spirit
fell the rhythm of my heart echoed in the beat of the drum
Stand in the circle and know that we are one
I thunder across the plains on four legs
I hurdle, screaming through the clouds on feathered wings
I swim the deep waters diving down into the darkness
I slither on my belly through the tall wet grasses
I am your brother your sister
I have walked with your father
I have given warmth to your mother
I share with you the grandmothers and grandfathers
Look into my eyes and know the sadness there
Feel the heaviness in my heart as I long for home
Stand with me, my brother, my sister - join me in the circle
