FINDING LIGHT

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

where is the light that I am looking for can I find it in the darkness of the day or night even the sun and the moon get lost in their thoughts sometimes until they find the place in the sand to draw the line.

how long will it take to find what it is that I'm looking for when by the second I'm opening new doors that always seem to get my attention in this life what are important things to mention

what have I held and lost inside of my hands while searching  for  nirvana while looking for the light what have I lost while realizing I can not go back to the start do I still hold those things dear as a child inside of my heart

who is it that I talk to when a dream for I close my eyes not to sleep but to travel through the universe to other dimensions trying to  find the light that I know exists inside of the darkness that is me what is it that I hope to see how real am I when I whisper your name into the stars that occupy the skies
