THE DAY THE WEEBLES FELL
THE DAY THE WEEBLES FELL
They all lived in a weeble town
They wobbled but never fell down
They had strong a solid base
Known as God's Amazing Grace
Into the little town slithered the Snake
Hissing, “ I've got a deal to make”
It's a sad, sad tale I tell
The day the weebles fell
“ You have such a bland boring base
So old fashioned and outta place
I have a base of beauty surpass!
A great base made all of glass!”
Said the sneaky Snake
With all the empathy he could fake
It's a sad, sad tale I tell
The day the weebles fell
So it became the latest fashion
Glass bases were the passion
The latest craze, a whole new style
Chosen by the rank and file
Brought a smile to old Snake
As their bases they forsake
It's a sad, sad tale I tell
The day the weebles fell
And so the Snake lifted them high
Dropped each weeble from the sky
Glass bases shatter hitting ground
One by one each weeble fell down
In victory hissed the Snake
“This town I can now take”
It's a sad, sad tale I tell
The day the weebles fell
The weeble Town, Church it's named
And no, God is not to be blamed
For God gave us such a solid base
By the Cross, and through His Grace
Which crushed the head of the Snake
And so no Weeble need forsake
Need not be a sad, sad tale I tell
Through Grace Weebles need not fail
AMEN
