Gifts and talents

Okay this is enough !
this is God-given stuff
Talents and gifts
to smooth out the rough

To give you something
to enjoy with others
Your styles be bumping
others gather around and smother

They get hooked to your style
But it is yours now
It is like no one else could do it
But Father led you through it

For others it is stress to the max
They would never understand the facts
This is almost "ole Skool"
for someone way back

Another late 1970s is old
in most youthful episodes
They are talented new century babies
but I was never left in the cold

We all have gifts and talents too
I thought you knew
I have people questioning my skills
like they don't have a clue

Trying to figure out my mystery
Like an episode of Scooby Doo
But really I always surprise
people like boo

I am like the ghost with the most
Will be talked about coast to coast
Country to country
All around teh world but why even boast

I will stay humble
My life already tumbled
Still waiting for glory
When Father calls my number

I will be the story for the summer
number one stunner
Still show love no hate
unlike other number one gunners

I am here to lift
others in their gift(s)
break down their talent
just like flour sift
