Journey of the moon.

The twinkling stars seems to me
thousands of hanging lanterns
and the wan crescent as an aged woman
who is walking slowly with woobly stick.

The elongated path is eerie.
But she walks till the edge of night.
Then she is having rest
for her next long journey.

The fatigued journey of her
makes more lean and thin.
Then oneday she perishes
and disolves into dark.

She reappears with her new birth.
Then her young happy visage
appears plump and bright.
