Poor

Where I live at the poor is on the streets. Try my best to give to everyone I meet. For in my heart I know they are just like me. Lived a decent life once now hardship they see. They are often turned down and then sent away. Yes they live this life each and every day. I see them as I stroll they are everywhere. All the people do is walk by and stare. The poor have their ways and some are so unkind. But then there are others with good manners you find. I try to talk to them and maybe help them out. And then they tell me what their life's about. You'd be very shocked of where they come from. Starts with PhDs and some are on the run. The poor out there all live in different ways. For some of them it will be their last days.

About this poem

If you see someone on the streets that is in need try to help them. It doesn't always have to be money but just buy them a meal or something. Even a Hello can make their day.
